Christine Flowers-Ewing is new Executive Director of Keep California Beautiful

Appointed by the KCB Board of Directors, Ms. Flowers-Ewing brings a wealth of experience and skills to the organization including Masters Degrees both in Biological Sciences and Secondary Education Curriculum Development. She also holds two Bachelor Degrees, one in Biology and one in Liberal Arts.

Her career experience spans over 21 years in community outreach and environmental education; curriculum development and program coordination; grant writing and implementation; and working with various entities to implement source reduction and/or recycling programs, including adopting sustainable building or environmentally preferable purchasing policies. She has been a K-12 classroom teacher and a professor; but most recently she has been a staff scientist with the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
