On the 4th of July, KCB partnered with Keep America Beautiful, Anheuser Busch, California Independent Grocers and Convenience Stores, FreePB, and I Love a Clean San Diego to supply beachgoers with recycling opportunities, trash bags, large cardboard trash receptacles, and incentives to increase awareness and to promote earth-friendly behavior encouraging people to leave San Diego's beaches clean!
KCB's post 4th of July Cleanup efforts were centralized in Mission Beach near Belmont Park with I Love a Clean San Diego, Spy Optics and O'Neill as location sponsors. The event was part of Sun Diego and Surfrider Foundation's "Morning After Mess" collaborative clean-up efforts which rallied hundreds of volunteers on the morning of July 5th.
